Configure UMC

Important advice:
To get a more precise scan results you can use xml-files!
For movies which are identified wrong you should use the "[Movie].xml"!
For series which are identified wrong you should use the "[Series].xml"!

If you would like to create groups not only by directory so you can use the "[Group].xml"!

The "xml-files" have to be edited with a "UTF-8 capable editor" (like eg. "Notepad++").

The following caption is used by the "xml-files":
The text with these characters is comment and only for information - so you can remove these text passages!
The items between <tag></tag> are so-called „tags“ and denote always the start and end of a„text/value“.
The content/value in these „tags“ could/have to be edited/adjusted!
eg.:
<tag>Text</tag>

There it is also possible that several „tags“ are in another „tag“!
eg.:

<libraries>
   <library>
      <movie_scan_dir>
         <pc_dir></pc_dir>
      </movie_scan_dir>
   </library>
</libraries>

There are 2 possibilities to configure the UMC:

1) Wizard (Project -> new)
With this wizard it's only possible to adjust most important functions to help the user.

2) Settings (Options -> Settings)
If you like to adjust more things and use the full functions of UMC you could configure UMC here. In this section it's also possible to add more than one scan-library, but later I will explain this.
